Tablecloths

Getting the right linen is important to set the tone of your event. Choose your tablecloth hire by size, shape or colour with ease with our helpful guide.

Finding the right linen hire for your event doesn’t need to be a chore. Whatever occasion being organised, we are sure to be able to help with your needs. Event organisers throughout the Southampton area rent linen from us because they know we have what they need at a price that is right.

We have linen for hire available in a range of colours and sizes to match most aesthetics and common table sizes. While the choice might be a bit daunting for someone who has never hired linen before, we’ve made it easier than ever to pick the right size.

All of our linen product pages list in their description table sizing to help ensure that you choose the right one, while all of our table product pages have recommended linen so customers can hire with confidence.

What do I need to know about tablecloth hire?

Most linen hire is measured in inches, so it’s important to measure your tables in that format before choosing what you need. Remember to include a bit for the “drape” between the table-top and the floor – the standard banqueting table is 30 inches tall.

Table linen is either square, rectangular or circular. With most tables it should be intuitive what to choose, but for oval tables we recommend the larger rectangular pieces of linen while smaller circular tables normally have a square tablecloth.

Runners and sashes will add an accent of colour to your table and chairs if you don’t want to go overboard, while napkins make a classy accompaniment.

What do I need to know about cleaning tablecloth hire?

Before we dispatch our linen hire, we have it professionally laundered and pressed so it is sent out in the best condition. Do do this requires industry-specific machinery and that is why we don't expect our customers to launder their linen hire before we come to collect it.

It's for this reason we include the cost of laundry in our linen hire price. All we ask of our cusotmers is that when repacking linen in shipping bags ready for collection, they make sure that it is dry and free of any food debris. Linen returned wet or with attached food debris is much more likely to be unable to be cleaned and we have to charge replacement fees for any damaged or destroyed linen.
